Fox News reports that Stuart Peterson carried his bride Hannah down the aisle on their wedding day due to injuries Hannah sustained in a car accident weeks before the wedding. Hannah had a broken pelvis, ribs, a concussion, and a punctured kidney. Kyle surprised Hannah by carrying her down the aisle, and she managed to stand for the wedding despite being in great pain.

The Northern Irish couple were childhood sweethearts who met when they were 4 and 6 years old. They spent much of their lives apart until Kyle's family moved to Canada, where Hannah was already living.
