With so many events being cancelled due to COVID in 2020, it's refreshing and promising to hear that some future events will indeed go on.

The Greater Southwest Mardi Gras Association announced on Facebook that they are moving forward with plans for Mardi Gras 2021 in Lafayette.

They will be working with local and state officials to ensure the safety of all participants.
