‘Give Kids a Winning Chance’ at Acadiana Mall During September

Acadiana Mall and Coca-Cola invite you to donate to the local Boys & Girls Club and 'Give Kids A Chance."

Children from all backgrounds arrive to an empty home at 3 PM each day. The Boys & Girls Club fills this void with activities to keep children engaged and active until their parents pick them up. By partnering with the local Club, Acadiana Mall can help make a difference in the lives of kids, as the Boys & Girls Club will use all donations to enhance activities.

A donation bin is located at Customer Service near the Main Entrance. The Club's needs include: basketballs, kick balls, jump ropes, construction paper, crayons, color pencils, glue sticks, markers, finger paints, board games, buttons, beads and feathers. Supplies will be collected now through September 30th.

Acadiana Mall will host a “Day of Play” at Center Court Saturday, September 20 from 11am – 2pm in addition to the collection drive. Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana will be on site with games and activities, Lafayette Coca-Cola will hand out healthy beverages and several members of the UL Women's Basketball Team will be available for a meet and greet.
