Garbage + Recycling Will Run On Labor Day In Lafayette & New Iberia

There will be NO CHANGE in the normal garbage service schedule for Lafayette Parish and the City of New Iberia due to the Labor Day holiday.

Republic Services and the Recycling Foundation will run their regularly scheduled residential garbage and recycling collection routes on Labor Day in Lafayette Parish and throughout Acadiana.

All customers served by Republic Services and the Recycling Foundation should place waste out the evening before their regularly scheduled collection day for the entire week of Labor Day.  There will be no changes to the residential waste collection schedule the entire week of Labor Day.

The Lafayette Consolidated Government Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Rd. will be closed on Saturday and Labor Day, and will reopen at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
