There will be another food distribution taking place today to help those who are experiencing food insecurity.

United Way of Acadiana has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank -- Feeding South Louisiana and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for the event today.

Food distribution will happen today (Wed, May 27) from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Cajun Field in Lafayette.

If you are in need, fresh produce, protein, and other essential items will be available through a contact-free drive-up service. No registration is needed.

You are advised to line up at the parking lot of Cajun Field no earlier than 9:30 am. Vehicles should enter at Gate 3 unless otherwise instructed by police.

This is the second food distribution held by United Way of Acadiana, Second Harvest Food Bank – Feeding South Louisiana and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The previous event was held on April 17.
