During a segment on the Fox channel, one guest deemed Celine Dion's new clothing line "Demonic".

According to Celine Dion's clothing website, the fashion line is designed to allow children to find their own individuality:

CELINUNUNU unites two forces by one voice: fashion has the power to shape people’s minds. Inspire your children to be free and find their own individuality through clothes. - Celinununu

One of the items for sale on the site is a "onesie" that features what appears to be skulls (they are skulls). What's bad about this? Well, I'll tell you: they are only available in black and white (I was hoping for more diversity).

I'm no board-certified child-rearing expert but a child doesn't know that you are afraid of skulls (which, by the way, can NOT hurt you), so why would you instill your fears (over a non-threatening object) into your child's brain? A dog you're not familiar with? Teach your child to be wary. A stove? Teach your child it may be hot. Traffic? Teach your child to be careful. A skull? Teach your child biology, for Pete's sake (Pete's not afraid of skulls).

Fox guest: get over yourself. If parents want their children to grow up not being afraid of an inanimate object, let them do their thing. If you want to instill your fears or prejudices in your child, well, you have the right to do that. I find it petty for people to be upset about this. If you don't want your child wearing it, don't buy it.
