If you see swarms of law enforcement personnel, a big limo or two and Secret Service agents cruising through the Hub City tomorrow, Former President George W. Bush is coming to town.  He'll be the keynote speaker at the Acadian Ambulance Service Annual Paramedics Luncheon.

More than 2,000 are expected to attend the invitation only awards luncheon Tuesday May 24th at the Cajundome from Noon to 1:30pm.

Acadian Ambulance always secures notable keynote speakers for this annual event.  In fact, Former President George H.W. Bush, George W.'s Dad, spoke at the awards luncheon five years ago.

Last year, Saints Super Bowl Champion Quarterback Drew Brees gave the keynote address.  Other past speakers for the Acadian Ambulance luncheon included Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning and actor William Shatner.

I actually had the priviledge of attending the William Shatner luncheon back when Shatner hosted the hit TV Series Rescue 911. It's an elite five star extravaganza dedicated to the hard working Acadian Ambulance paramedics and staff who deserve recognition of this caliber.

Bush is expected to discuss entrepreneurialism and democracy and he'll give a special salute to the Acadian Ambulance paramedics.
