Former Icegator Eric Cloutier Accidentally Sells Wife’s Wedding Ring At Garage Sale

Former Louisiana Icegator Eric Cloutier, who lives in California now, sold his wife's $23,000 wedding ring at a garage sale, for $10!!Here's the set-up:  Cloutier's wife, Racquel, was in the hospital, having another baby.  Before she went into the hospital, she removed her jewelry for safekeeping.  She didn't tell Eric, but she put the ring into an old watch box in his closet.

To try to keep the kids busy while mom was in the hospital, Cloutier decided it would be fun to take old items from the house to sell at the neighborhood garage sale, including that watch box (which he thought was empty).

It wasn't.

The couple is sending a plea out, hoping that the lucky buyer does the right thing....
