Officials with Festival International along with Lafayette's Mayor/President will have a ceremony tomorrow to raise the Festival International Flag as the symbol that Festival International season is getting underway.

Performers from across the globe will be part of the this year's Festival which will start on April 20 and run through the 24.

Lafayette Mayor/President Joel Robideaux along with Scott Feehan, the President of the Board and Executive Director for Festival International de Louisiana will join Exhibits Committee Chairman and Board of Directors member Buz Reid to raise the flag at City Hall.

The address for Lafayette City Hall is 705 West University Avenue. The ceremony will be at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

You can buy a flag to fly at your home or business for just $20. The money raised from the purchase of flags benefit Festival International.
