FEMA Deadline for Hurricane Laura Assistance is October 27
If you live in a Parish that has been designated for FEMA assistance as a result of Hurricane Laura, time is quickly running out.
The deadline to register for federal assistance is Tuesday, October 27.
The FEMA assistance includes "help for temporary housing, rental assistance and repair or replacement of damaged property" according to KATC.
The Parishes designated for FEMA assistance are -
Acadia, Allen, Beauregard, Caddo, Calcasieu, Cameron, Grant, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, La Salle, Lincoln, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Sabine, St. Landry, Union, Vermilion, Vernon, and Winn.
