Emergency Call For O – Negative Blood Type Donations

KATC reports that United Blood Services has issued an emergency appeal for O-negative blood type donors. Reserves are down to a less than one day supply. Only six percent of the population has O-negative blood, but it's used most by trauma centers because it's the universal blood type.
