In Local News:

The death toll from Hurricane Ida is now at four. The latest fatalities occurred when a 50-foot portion of a highway in Mississippi was washed away by torrential rains from the storm. Two people were killed as a result of that collapse, ten others were injured.

In Britney News:

Britney Spears' legal team is once again urging her father Jamie Spears to step down as her conservator. On Monday, the pop star's attorney Mathew Rosengart filed new court documents requesting Jamie's immediate suspension as Britney’s conservator. In the new court filing Rosengart stated that "Britney Spears will not be bullied or extorted by her father."

In Celebrity News:

On Monday, crews began setting up a billboard of Justin Bieber's new Balenciaga ad on the Los Angeles' Sunset Strip, and ended up with a bit of a mishap. While the top half of the billboard featured Bieber's brooding face and part of his torso, the bottom part of the photo showed the legs of a SKIMS shape wear model. The bottom half shows the model wearing nothing but a pair of grey underwear and crew socks. While the 2 photos line up pretty seamlessly the photos are not supposed to be together.
