Dr. Joe Kanter, Louisiana’s State Health Officer says more COVID mitigation measures might have to be implemented if the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana isn’t slowed down. Kanter says if the state’s case counts don’t peak in a week or two it could create a catastrophic situation for hospitals.
