Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison conducted a study which found that eating crickets can be good for you.  Participants in the study had increases in an enzyme and bacteria associated with a healthy gut, along with lower levels of an inflammatory blood protein that's linked to depression and cancer.  The leader of the study says more people in the United States and Europe are beginning to see eating insects in a different light. When compared to traditional livestock, crickets are a sustainable, environmentally friendly source of protein. The study is from Scientific Reports Journal.
