Bullying has become a prominent social issue in recent years. There are major nationwide efforts to combat it. A new app has recently surfaced that has the potential to deal those those efforts a major setback. It's called Sarahah. If you're a parent, you need to be aware of it. Sarahah allows users to send anyone any message they care to...anonymously. It's popularity with teens has exploded in recent weeks. The app is one of the most downloaded free apps at Google Play, and itunes. "Sarahah" is an Arabic word, meaning "Candor." Fortune reports, the app was originally developed to enable open & honest feedback in the workplace. The Saudi developer of Sirahah, Zain al-Abidin Tawfiq, recently unveiled an English version, which rapidly became one of the most downloaded apps. Multiple reports of bullying via Sarahah have, not surprisingly, been reported.
