(Kenner, Louisiana) - A high-speed chase on Sunday night resulted in a serious crash, and it was all caught on video surveillance from a nearby home.

WDSU reports, "Tyler Saladino, 24, of River Ridge has been arrested and accused of leading deputies on a chase across Kenner that ended at West Louisiana State Drive and West Esplanade Avenue."

As the vehicle Saladino was driving went through an intersection, it collided with another car, which ultimately ended up on its side.

The New Orleans news station reports that the driver of the vehicle that landed on its side was taken to a hospital, treated, and then released.

As for the man the police were chasing, he was still in the hospital, but once released, would face the following charges:

  • Aggravated flight from an officer
  • Aggravated obstruction on a highway
  • Hit and run resulting in injury
