On parkgoer may have saved many lives.

Someone at an amusement park in North Carolina spotted a large crack in the structure of a roller coaster.

As you can see below, the roller coaster was in full operation when someone spotted the crack in the structure.

The ride was quickly suspended and will reportedly not re-open until the structure is repaired.

I don't know how anyone who works at the park did not notice this, but luckily someone did before it was too late.

The person who shot the video from the parking lot turned his footage over to authorities in the park and he's just glad that the ride was stopped before something catastrophic happened.

The ride itself approaches 100 mph at its peak and is 325 in height.
