Children With Juvenile Diabetes Need Your Help
Camp Victory in Leesville, La. is a camp where children with juvenile diabetes can have fun for a week and be monitored by the American Diabetes Association.
The camp provides a medical and dietary staff who also secure insulin, blood testing meters and supplies for the children who attend.
Having been diagnosed with Hypoglycemia a few years ago, I know first hand how blood disorders can affect a persons day to day activities.
Since my diagnosis, every year for my birthday, Debbie Ray and I raise money for children to attend Camp Victory at no charge to their parents. Monday, tomorrow, is my 49th birthday. My wish is that you give what you can so that these children can play and have fun for one week at Camp Victory in a safe environment while their parents take comfort in the fact that they are monitored by medical professionals during their entire stay.
