Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA, is hosting a Gumbo and Chili Cook-Off this Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Cajun Harley Davidson in Scott, La.

CASA volunteers help to provide valuable information and recommendations on behalf of abused children. Last year CASA was able to help over 140 children and place over 49 children in safe homes with the money that was raised at the 2015 event. If you are interested in participating in the Gumbo or Chili Cook-Off you can contact Ashley at (337) 268-5111 or at Ashley@casaofsola.org. There is a $50 entry fee per team and you must provide your own tent, tables, chairs, and serving utensils.

If you are interested in bringing the family out for some delicious gumbo and chili, serving will start at 11 a.m. and bracelets are available for $7 a person.

If you always wanted to ride a motorcycle but are a little scared? Now you can try without the fear, Cajun Harley Davidson will be offering free demo test rides during the cook-off. This will give you the chance to experience the exhilaration of riding a bike without moving.
