Black & Decker, Bostitch, Porter Cable Recall Drills
Black & Decker, Bostitch, and Porter Cable are recalling Hammer Drills due to injury hazard.
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission says that this recall involves side handles supplied with Porter-Cable brand model PC70THD ½ Inch VSR 2-Speed Hammer Drills, Black & Decker brand model DR560 ½ Inch Drill/Drivers, and Bostitch brand models BTE140 and BTE141 ½ Inch Hammer Drills.
Injuries have been reported after the side handle on the drills has slipped or broken, leading to a loss of control.
Over 640,000 of these drills are being recalled in the US.
