According to Melissa Blasius of ABC15-Phoenix, Jacob Chansley has made his first appearance in court in relation to charges against him for storming the U.S. Capitol building.

The report also says that according to Chansley's mother, her son has not eaten since Friday. The reason; the detention facility he is currently at will not provide him with all organic food.

Chansley, who also goes by Jake Angeli, was a focal point of last week's events in our nation's capitol. His wardrobe choice definitely garnered attention, as outlets around the world used his image to depict the wild scene that occurred in Washington D.C..

I'm guessing that Chansley did not consider his dietary restrictions before he decided to enter the U.S. Capitol. Unfortunately, the detention center he has landed in has not been able to meet his needs as it pertains to what he usually eats.

We aren't sure yet as to what will happen for Chansley and his charges, but we do know one thing for sure - he is HUNGRY!
