Alligator Takes Bite Out of Police Car in Caddo Parish
Baw, them alligators in north Louisiana are ornery!
Sheriff's deputies in Caddo Parish say an alligator took a bite out of one of their patrol cars.
A call was made to the department on Monday from someone who spotted a gator in the middle of the road on Louisiana Highway 1. Deputies were waiting for wildlife removal experts to arrive when the gator chomped off a piece of their front bumper.
Deputies estimate the alligator was about 8 feet long. A photo from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Facebook page shows the reptile in the grass next to what appears to be the grill to the patrol car.
Unfortunately, the gator escaped before the wildlife removal experts arrived.
Ah, the one that got away! Somebody call Troy Landry.
