Louisiana Couple Has Aerosol Can Explode in Vehicle
The heat is on in Louisiana and we all need to be aware of what is in our vehicles this summer.
Brittany Wills recently posted several photos on social media that show a can in a windshield and she tells me this happened after it was left in her boyfriend's vehicle.
The aerosol can was left in the vehicle and as temperatures rose in it the can built up enough pressure to explode and become a projectile. Luckily no one was injured in this bizarre incident, but as you can see here, the vehicle's windshield was damaged.
Brittany says she shared this photo to remind others of the dangers of leaving things in their vehicle during the summer months. As temperatures skyrocket this summer, she wants everyone to remember to never leave anything or anyone in their vehicle.
Even an aerosol can become a danger if left in a hot vehicle and as you can see here, when a can builds up enough pressure in it, it too can be a danger to anyone in the vehicle.
In addition to aerosol cans, we remind you that you should never leave electronics, kids, or pets in your vehicle this summer. It does not take long for the temperature to reach dangerous levels in vehicles during the summer, thus we all need to be cautious of what is left in our vehicle.
Here are a couple of more photos from Britanny's viral post on social media.
