Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Announces their 36th Season

In announcing their 36th season, we received a message from Dana Baker, Executive Director of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra:

Through what now is known as ‘these unprecedented times’, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra has been working meticulously to create a season that embodies hope for our Acadiana community.

I’ve read a ton of Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) articles as of late and I think he’s pinpointed some things that resonate so deeply for me both personally and professionally. Dave says there’s nothing quite like the tangible, communal power of live music. Boy, is he right! And, it’s something that ASO, along with Festivals Acadiens et Creole, Acadiana Center for the Arts (formerly Acadiana Arts Council), and Festival International de Louisiane, were literally created to do at a time when our neighbors needed it most.
