2016-2017 College Football Bowl Schedule

The 2016-2017 college football bowl schedule was released on Sunday.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will be appearing in the New Orleans Bowl for the fifth time in the last six years, when they take on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, on Saturday, December 17, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. at 8 pm.

The LSU Tigers are headed to Orlando, Florida, for the Florida Citrus Bowl, where they will meet up with the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, December 31 at 10 am.

The College Football Playoff, which will feature Alabama, Clemson, Ohio St., and Washington, will get underway on New Year's Eve, with Alabama playing Washington in Chick-fil-A Bowl, while Clemson takes on Ohio St. in the Fiesta Bowl.

The winners of those two games will play for the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, January 9.
