UL Will Host NCAA Softball Regional This Weekend
For the first time in 10 years, the #6 ranked Ragin' Cajuns will be hosting an NCAA Division I Softball Championship Regional tournament at Lamson Park beginning this Friday and going thru Sunday.
Facing the Cajuns, currently with an astounding 49 - 4 record, will be Stanford, Baylor and Mississippi Valley State.
Fans looking for tickets can call the Cajundome to order tickets, or by visiting RaginCajuns.com and faxing in their order form. Season ticket holders will have priority, followed by RCAF Annual Fund members (not too late to become an Annual Fund member - call 482-5393). Tickets will be allocated in the order in which requests were submitted.
This Regional appearance is the 22nd in UL history and the 14th straight, as the Cajuns won their 11th Sun Belt Conference Regular Season Championship in the last 12 years.
