Tower Drive To Close At Highway 90 in Lafayette

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will be closing Tower Dr. at its intersection with U.S. 90 (S.W. Evangeline Thruway) in Lafayette Parish beginning Monday, July 11, 2011 for approximately one week.  This closure is needed to remove existing drainage pipe under Tower Dr. and to begin the foundation work for the new signalized intersection.  Motorists will need to use the Kaliste Saloom intersection to PHI Dr. to access the airport control tower. Terminal Access will remain open via Surrey Street.
