Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Celebration at Cajundome Convention Center begins at 6 PM. Read More.

The Lafayette Farmer’s and Artisans Market will be an official drop off point for United Way’on Saturday, August 27th from 8 AM - 12 PM. Items needed: 5 gal buckets w lid, mops, liquid detergent, all-purpose cleaners, insect repellent, scrubbers, work gloves, etc.

Goodwill locations in Acadiana will open from 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday for another free shopping event to benefit flood victims. Regular customers are welcome, and flood victims will be asked to register at the Flood Assistance table upon arrival. Read more. 

The 5th annual VFW Auxiliary Garage Sale is Saturday at VFW Post 9210 located at 204 Lafayette Street in Youngsville. Doors open at 7 AM. All proceeds benefit area veterans.

The Muscular Dystrophy Won't Stop Shawn Benefit is a gumbo cook-off benefit to raise money for Shawn, who has MD. There will be music, food, raffles, silent auction, games, blood drive, magicians, vendors, and more. Read more. 

The Dog Stop-Pinhook is throwing a Birthday Bash & ARFLA Adoption Event to celebrate its first year of serving Lafayette. All proceeds will go towards helping the dogs at Acadiana Rescue Foundation of Louisiana (ARFLA) get medical care and find loving homes. Read more. 

Hip - Hop Heals is a concert to raise money for recent Louisiana flood victims. ALL PROCEEDS from the $10 cover charge at the door, plate lunch sales, raffles and any other donations will be given to families in need. Read more.

Ragin’ Cajuns Fall Fan Day, presented by MidSouth Bank. Doors open at 5 PM with activities taking place until 7pm. This event is free for fans of all ages.
