The stuff Southern women say..."Well bless their heart".  You have to admit, Southern women will say just about anything that crosses their minds.  And somehow even if the words cut like a knife, coming from a Southern woman, you'll almost want to say, Thank You Darling!

Look what was in my mail yesterday! The April 2012 issue of  Southern Living Magazine is out and it features Lafayette as 'The South's Tastiest Town.'

It's now official - Lafayette is the 'Tastiest Town in the South' - according to a poll by Southern Living magazine. Editors cited our "batch of homegrown chefs…delving deep into the region's robust culinary roots, with stellar takes on Acadiana classics...

Southern Living Magazine wants to know what the Tastiest Town in the south is, and Lafayette has the honor of being nominated!
