Blue Bell spokesman Joe Robertson tells the Louisiana Radio Network that the iconic ice cream brand is returning to freezer cases in Louisiana.

Five flavors in five sizes will be available again in Louisiana on December 21.

We've been without Blue Bell Ice cream in Louisiana since spring. The company has resumed production, but not at all plants. The company will ship you four half gallons in a styrofoam container via UPS next day delivery.

Blue Bell ice cream has returned to shelves, though only in select locations in Texas and Alabama as of today.
