Stop Holding Your Hand Out For Something Free

The good things in life are hard to achieve and had to get. The bad things are easy. As with comedians, it is easy to be dirty funny, difficult to be clean funny. When something comes easy, it's probably not worth it.

I never want to be one of those people who have my hand out expecting something free from this life. I want to work for what I have. There's certainly a sense of pride in earning the life I have. I see those people who are perfectly capable of working and making a living, scamming the government, going to the mailbox every month to get that check you and I earned for them. I'm not sure if I'm angry or saddened by that.

Earn what you have, feel the pride. Your sense of purpose will bring such joy and peace to your life.
