As Christmas approaches, many parents will be looking for ways to keep their babies away from the Christmas tree.

If you have kids you know that they are often attracted to the tree during the holidays. After all, the lights and bright colors on the ornaments are like a magnet and kids can't resist.

So, what can you do to keep the tree upright this holiday season, well you'll have to get creative. Simply telling a baby or toddler to stay from the Christmas tree will not work, but there are things you can do to protect the tree and the baby this holiday season.

I have seen in years past that parents have put a gate around the tree to prevent the little ones from getting to the tree, and then there's this idea.

A photo posted on social media shows a tree in the baby's crib. Now obviously the baby isn't sleeping in it, but one mom has put an extra crib to good use.

As you can see in the photo below, the crib is the home to this tree and there's no way the baby or toddler can get to it. Sure, it may be a waste of resources in this home, but if it protects the tree and kid who's to say that this is a bad idea?

I share this with you because I know many parents will be looking for ways to keep the little ones away from the tree this holiday season.

And please remember, babies/toddlers don't know better so they will explore and at times things on the Christmas tree can be a danger, so protect them from the potential hazard.

Here's the hilarious photo that shows the Christmas tree nestled in this baby crib.
