Kindergarten and Pre-K Registration for Lafayette Parish Students

Kindergarten Registration for Lafayette Parish Students will take place on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Kindergarten students will register at their home zone school and Pre-K students will register at the Vermilion Conference Center (326 Gauthier Road off of Pinhook Road) and Truman Early Childhood Education Center (200 Clara Street off of University).
To qualify for Pre-K, a child must be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2014, zoned for Lafayette Parish Schools. Pre-K Registration requires proof of income (check stub, tax returns or food stamp printout.) In addition you must have the child’s original birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, social security card, and proof of residence (electric, water or gas bill in parent’s name)
To register for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 year old on or before September 30, 2014, and reside in that neighborhood zone. To register, you must have the child’s original birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, social security card, and proof of residence (electric, water or gas bill in parent’s name.)

On that day, existing Pre-K and Kindergarten students do not report to school.
