Iron Chef champion and James Beard award-winner John Besh visits The Accidental Chef on Saturday, December 17th to sign his new book, My Family Table, and to demonstrate a dish for guests.

Filled with mouthwatering photographs of each recipe as well as showing Besh in his kitchen with his wife and four sons, My Family Table captures the spontaneity, intimacy, and fun of home-cooking and will inspire the nation back to the family table.

Besh's new book shows readers how to put good, fresh, healthy food on the table for their families every day. In My Family Table, Besh makes a case for the importance of home-cooked meals.

“If I can help make a difference by cooking simply and sharing what I love to cook, I can possibly help us all use our passions and skills to make our lives better at almost every meal,” said Besh.

The event will take place from 1:30-3:00pm at 408 Garfield St. on Saturday, Dec. 17th.  This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is appreciated.  Also, patrons are encouraged to pre-order Besh’s new book, My Family Table, to have it waiting for them when they arrive.
