By now, we've all heard of the tragic death of James Foley at the hands of a member of the ISIS terrorist group. You may have also heard that President Obama decided to return to the golf course after his brief statement on the murder of James Foley. In just a matter of days, it seems that the latter has eclipsed the former, with lots of people angry with Obama and other people angry with the people who are angry with Obama.

In my opinion, the only important thing that matters here is that James Foley lost his life to a senseless and inhuman act of violence. Was President Obama even on the minds of John and Diane Foley as they mourned the loss of their son? I doubt it. Could the president have used more discretion during a time of national mourning and tension? Absolutely.

In the end, what's most important is that a man has lost his life and his family now has to bear that burden. Keep the Foley family in your prayers and pray also for the release of Steven Sotloff, who ISIS has threatened to execute as well.
