Starkey Hearing Foundation Returns to New Orleans to Give the Gift of Hearing

Do you know a child or teen in need of free hearing aid assistance?

Starkey Hearing Foundation is on a mission to provide free hearing aids to low income children, teens and young adults with hearing loss. They are asking for assistance in reaching out to the community to help them find kids in need. With your cooperation, they can reach their goal of fitting all hearing impaired children in Louisiana with new hearing aids.

On January 31st- February 1st 2013, Starkey Hearing Foundation will return to New Orleans to give the gift of hearing for its annual Super Bowl Week Hearing Mission. To make this extra special, there will be surprise guest NFL players to help assist the children. The Foundation last visited New Orleans in February 2008.

Starkey Hearing Foundation travels around the world providing hearing care to low-income children and adults and fits more than 100,000 hearing aids each year, more than 7,500 in the U.S. in 2011 alone. Qualified recipients will receive brand new, top-of-the-line digital hearing aids customized to their hearing loss, as well as a supply of batteries to power them.

Starkey Hearing Foundation is teaming up with Hearing Health Care of Louisiana to serve the people of the great State of Louisiana.
