February Is ‘Clean Up Our City Month’ In Lafayette

The Louisiana Garden Club Federation's Annual Cleanest City Contest is approaching.  The City of Lafayette has won the Contest in its category each of the last two years.  February has been designated "Clean Up our City Month."  Lafayette residents are being asked to spruce up our neighborhoods.
“February is a great month to motivate all our residents to do their part to keep Lafayette beautiful.   With the unveiling of the Comprehensive Plan this month as well, which advocates several beautification action items, we hope to draw the public’s attention to their part in making Lafayette an attractive community, for our own residents, and for visitors,”   -Joey Durel, City Parish President

The judges will visit Lafayette in May 8th.
