Favorite Songs of 2014 – Debbie Ray’s Top 5

Sounds so retro and Polyester Power Hour-esque, plus Bruno Mars and his band are so much fun- how can you not love it? And now, our local version of 'Mardi Gras Funk!' LOVE!

I'd heard the Hozier version, but it didn't really resonate with me. Then I saw Matt McAndrew perform it live on 'The Voice.' Wow.

The lyrics are so beautiful. "Take me into your loving arms, kiss me under the light of a thousand stars, place your head on my beating heart, thinking out loud, that maybe we found love right where we are."

First of all, I can't believe I like a band called Fall Out Boy, but whatever. I'm a rock fan and this song rocks.
