Registration is $20 per person, ages 7 and up. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, as well as 50/50 raffle tickets and door prize tickets.

Deano's Pizza (Bertrand Drive and Kaliste Saloom locations) is donating 15% of their day's proceeds to St. Jude.

Today was the big day for the Acadiana St. Jude Dream Home giveaway.

Cajun Hope Fest, a benefit for Relay For Life of Vermilion, will be held this Saturday in Abbeville. The Red Barn will be the location, and the event will include a 5k walk/run, food, live music, a car show, silent auction, and a kid's zone...

All proceeds benefit Acadiana Area for Veterans.

The event features food, entertainment, raffles and door prizes at every stop.

I had so much fun today at the Big Brothers/Big Sisters gala, fundraiser called 'Wine, Women & Shoes. I met so many wonderful people, and ended up taking home an award for raising the most money for the charity (Thanks to all of you who helped me). So in today's 'Daily Message' I show you the award I was presented, totally unexpected, and I give you not one, but two messages. One is serious and the other is funny. I'm hoping the funny one doesn't offend you. lol

Chris Lastrapes is an Acadiana hero. He's an officer with the Sunset police department, an EMT, and a volunteer firefighter. He devotes himself to saving lives. Now, Chris needs a kidney transplant to save his life.

The Les Etoiles de Louisiane Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Wurst Biergarten in Downtown Lafayette from 1-4pm.

From 3-8pm on April 12th, take your friends and family to Raising Cane's, have a delicious meal (don't forget the lemonade!), and help raise funds for Safe Haven!
