Carnival Offers 110 Percent Money Back Guarantee

My colleagues, CJ & Debbie Ray are currently on a Carnival cruise. It's no secret the cruise line has had a difficult year. We've just received news that they're offering a money-back guarantee. The "Great Vacation Guarantee" provides for guests to leave the ship  early and receive a 110 percent refund plus free transportation home, and a 100 dollar shipboard credit for use on a future cruise.
Carnival president and CEO Gerry Cahill said, "We are proud to carry nearly 4.5 million satisfied guests each year and are very confident in the quality of the vacation experience we provide on board the 24 ships of Carnival Cruise Lines."

Guests must notify the ship's guest services desk within the first 24 hours of the voyage To exercise the "Great Vacation Guarantee." They will then receive a full refund of their cruise fare, plus 10 percent. Complimentary return air transportation from the next port of call will be provided, along with complimentary ground transportation and hotel accommodations, if necessary. They'll also receive a 100 dollar shipboard credit for a future Carnival cruise. Carnival will make all the arrangements.
The "Great Vacation Guarantee" applies to all 3 - 8 day cruises to The Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Canada and New England through an April 30, 2015 departure date. It applies only to U.S. and Canadian residents.
