Have you seen the movie 'American Sniper' yet?

In its debut weekend the movie grossed over $100 million and received six Oscar nominations. The movie is based off of the life of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle who served four tours in Iraq and became known as the most lethal sniper in the history of the U.S. military.

But the movie has created some controversy. On Sunday Michael Moore tweeted,

"My uncle killed by sniper in WW2. We were taught snipers were cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren't heroes. And invaders r worse,"

Since the tweet, Moore has come out and tried to explain the comments he made and defend them. This caused others in Hollywood to come forward with their opinions about the movie, Jane Fonda tweeted,

"Just saw "American Sniper" Powerful. Another view of "Coming Home." Bradley Cooper sensational. Bravo Clint Eastwood."

I went to see the movie on Friday and I must say it was one of the best movies I have ever seen. For me, it showed me what military life is like while on the battle field and at home. It gave me a glimpse into the man Chris Kyle was, which wasn't just a sniper, he was a loving man, a great father, and a HERO. People can say whatever they want about this movie because one of the great freedoms we have is the freedom of speech, but for me, Chris Kyle was a man who wanted to defend this country and keep it safe for you and me, and he did everything he could to make that possible.

What do you think about the movie?
