Acadia Parish Schools Closed For Rest Of Week

With the Mermentau river not expected to crest til sometime Thursday, the Acadia Parish School Board has informed us They've deemed it unsafe to try to resume classes. Public schools in the parish will remain closed for the rest of this week. Classes will resume Monday, August 22nd.
