The Lafayette Science Museum is hosting an event that is to die for! The ZombieWalk, now in its 2nd year, offers individuals the chance to dress in their most gruesome gear and shuffle along the streets of downtown Lafayette on October 26th. Free for participants, the ZombieWalk invites the ghoulish and the undead to rise from their graves and join in overrunning downtown Lafayette. Spectators are also encouraged to join in on the fun, watching in horror and/or amusement as zombies take over. The walk is preceded by “The Lurch” at 4:30, where the rules of the walk will be announced on the lawn of Parc Sans Souci. The event will begin at 6:00 and end at Parc Sans Souci, just in time for the after-party as the post-mortem festivities continue in the form of a costume contest and live music from local bands Yakk and Bearfighter. Planet Radio and Trybe Habibi Bizarre will also provide entertainment while Schilling Distributing, local food trucks, and vendors will sell beverages, meals, and merchandise. Make sure to leave time for the Museum of Fear as it promises, “You will never be the same”.

Tell your friends and bring the whole family, because “A family that scares together shares together!” All proceeds benefit the Lafayette Science Museum. Visit Lafayette Zombie Walk on Facebook or call 337-291-5544 for more information.
