With schools all over Acadiana closing the past two days because of inclement weather, a question arises. Will these days have to be made up? The answer in Lafayette Parish is no. KATC reports LPSS has "banked" sufficient time to make that unnecessary.  Angela Morrison with the School Board says the district builds extra minutes into each school day to build up emergency time. As of Wednesday morning, officials plan to reopen schools on Thursday.
