Which Came First: The Chicken? Or the Egg?

One question that has kept me up late at night frequently has been "what if?"  The other has been "which came first: the chicken or the egg?".  Science.com thinks that they have the answer...

It's not often that I watch television, but my two favorite shows are "Family Guy" and "How It's Made" (Science Channel?).  I enjoy watching the widgets roll down the assembly line, and getting a glimpse behind-the-scenes.  Science.com has a similar program, called "How Stuff Works", which is equally interesting.

According to the How Stuff Works portion of the Science.com website, the answer to that age-old question is:  The Chicken.  Because of the zygote.  It's that simple.
