
Whales Spotted Near One of Louisiana Beachgoers Favorite Destinations
(KTDY-FM) - Two large whales were spotted along the Emerald Gulf Coast and near one of Louisiana's Beachgoers' favorite summer destinations, Destin, Florida.
The amazing footage of the whales was captured by someone from Boomeraviation, and as you'll see here, the whales seemed to be enjoying their visit in the crystal blue water of Florida.

We've heard reports of whales near Destin, which is a bit odd, being that the water is so warm, and now we have this amazing footage of the whales in the water.

According to some on social media, these large whales are North American Right Whales and are estimated to be 50 feet long. Sadly, this species of whale is endangered, and experts estimate that there are only about 372 left in existence.
So, if you're planning a summer trip along the Emerald Gulf Coast, be on the lookout, as you may be the next one to spot this amazing creature in the water.
