NEW YORK (AP) — The man accused of planting bombs in New York and New Jersey is still in the hospital following a shootout with police that led to his capture.

Ahmad Khan Rahami, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Afghanistan, is charged with the attempted murder of those police officers.

Federal prosecutors say they're still weighing charges connected to the bombings that injured 29 people.

Rahami, who is still hospitalized, is being held on $5.2 million bail.
