Tip For Culling Your Closet

I have been on a mission (though a slow-going mission) to downsize my life, and this meme shares a great idea!

Turn the hangars in your closet backwards.  As you wear clothes and launder them, put them in the closet the regular way.  At the end of a year, you can downsize by removing the clothes you haven't worn yet (still on 'backwards' hangars).

You can do the same for clothes in drawers:  arrange for the top drawer(s) to be emptied, storing your clothing in other areas.  As you wear clothes, after they have been laundered, put them away in the empty drawer(s).  After a year, whichever clothing hasn't been worn, give to charity!
