Thunderbird And Blue Angel Jets Crash In Separate Incidents Today

According to several reports on Twitter, a US Navy Blue Angels F-18 and a US Air Force Thunderbird F-16 both crashed today in separate incidents.

The F-18 crashed near Smyrna, Tennessee while practicing for an upcoming air show, and the F-16 crashed near the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Eyewitnesses say that the pilot of the F-16 ejected safely; there is one death reported in the F-18 crash, assumed to be the pilot.
