Black Bear With Three Legs Spotted in South Louisiana

A beautiful black bear was spotted roaming around South Louisiana, but what makes this bear unique Is that it only has three legs.

Daniel Hebert posted a snapshot of the bear that is walking around St. Mary Parish with three legs, and he says in the Louisiana Black Bear Report that this bear has been in the area.

As you know, black bears are all over Louisiana, so much so that there will soon be a harvesting season to help control the bear population in the "Sportsman's Paradise" state.

There's no way to tell how or why this bear is missing the lower portion of its leg, but for it to still be around, it is obviously thriving and eating well.
